Not Alone: A God for Your Situation: Part 6 Protector (Jehovah Nissa & Jehovah Tsaba): Exodus 17:8-15 & 1 Samuel 17:4-11, 26, 32-51
Sunday, October 14, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

Life is full of conflict. In fact, either you have come out of a battle, are in a battle right now, or are headed into a battle. What battle are you fighting? What giant are you facing?

This Sunday, we continue our sermon series, Not Alone: A God for Your Situation, that is about God's names. We will see God as our Protector!

47:22
Not Alone: A God for Your Situation: Part 5 Peace (Jehovah Rophe & Jehovah Shalom) Exodus 15:22-27 & Judges 6:1, 12-13, 22-24
Sunday, October 7, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

The absence of peace in our world is glaring. Mental illness, broken marriages, troubled children, mass shootings, political strife, racial tension, and nations at war.

How do we heal the brokenness of our sick world? Where do we find peace?

We address these questions as we continue our sermon series, Not Alone: A God for Your Situation, that is about God's names.

46:45
Not Alone: A God for Your Situation: Part 4 Provider (Jehovah Jireh & Jehovah Rohi): Genesis 22: 1-18; Psalm 23: 1-6
Sunday, September 30, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

The popular psalm tells us that “the LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.” (Psalm 23:1 - NIV)

Can we really be in place where we “shall not be in want”? Can our needs be met? And if so, how?

This Sunday we continue our sermon series, Not Alone: A God for Your Situation, that is about God's names. We will discover a God who is our Provider.

47:53
Not Alone: A God for Your Situation: Part 3 Prevailer (El Elyon & El Shaddai): Genesis 14:17-23; 17:1-5
Sunday, September 23, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

What impossible situation are you facing? Maybe life has caved in on you spiritually, financially, relationally, emotionally, vocationally, or physically. You see no way out, and you aren’t even sure anyone out there even knows where you are.

No matter how dark the situation, you don’t have to give up. You are not alone. There is a God for your situation. We continue our sermon series, Not Alone: A God for Your Situation, that is about God's names. We will look at a God who appears when it seems all hope is gone.

45:58
Not Alone: A God for Your Situation: Part 2 Personal God (Jehovah & Adonai): Exodus 3:10-15; 4:10-11
Sunday, September 16, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

Today, if God were to introduce himself to you as “I am _____________________,” what would he tell you?

Peace? Healer? Comforter? Power? Think about that. What would his name be to you today? What do you need to hear?

We continue our sermon series, Not Alone: A God for Your Situation, that is about God's names. Most of God's names in Scripture come out of scenarios in which God reveals himself in the realities of where people are. No matter what you are going through in your life, God has a name for your situation.

Not Alone: A God for Your Situation: Part 1 Power & Purpose (Elohim): Genesis 1:1-3, 26-28
Sunday, September 9, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

So much of the confusion, wrong decisions, and pain we go through in this life is the result of us not really knowing who God is and not realizing that he is with us. In fact, no matter what you are going through right now in this moment of your life, there is a God for your situation. You are not alone.

This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series, Not Alone: A God for Your Situation. Get to know a God who wants to meet you in the daily experiences of your life!

36:59
Forged Matthew 6:5-13
Sunday, September 2, 2018 :: Chad Wright

Why hasn’t God answered my prayer? Should I ask for a miracle? Am I bothering him praying about little things?

Prayer is such a simple concept, talking with God, yet it can be so complicated.

This Sunday we explore how God uses our prayer life to forge us into the people he designed us to be.

39:58
Run the Race: Part 2 Finish Strong: Hebrews 12: 1-3
Sunday, August 26, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

Every one of us are in the race of our lives, and there is a lane God has given each of us to run in. But races can be hard.

There will always be obstacles and problems, and we will get weary, tired, and want to stop. If we are not careful, we can be short-spurt runners who quit too soon.

Ever been there? Feel exhausted and want to quit on a relationship? A job situation? A marriage? An addiction-free life? A physically healthy life? A Christian life?

This Sunday we conclude our sermon series called, Run the Race, and we will talk about how to finish strong.

34:23
Run the Race: Part 1 Hebrews 12:1
Sunday, August 19, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

Every one of us are in the race of our lives. Some of us are trying to run someone else's race, running in someone else's lane, and have found ourselves exhausted, stressed, overwhlemed, and ineffective. And some of us have completely walked off the track and checked out. There's a better way.

This Sunday we start a short sermon series called, Run the Race. Life is so much better and bolder when we live and run in a way that fits who we were made to be.

48:49
Restoration: Part 10 Maturation: Growing in Restoration: Nehemiah 7:1-73
Sunday, August 12, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

This Sunday we conclude our sermon series called, Restoration.
