Men's Life

Men's Life

The mission of MEN'S LIFE is to build men up to be filled and led by the Holy Spirit to be sent out into the world to multiply as spirit-filled & spirit-led husbands, fathers, and leaders.  We see the men of Life Church taking proactive roles as spiritual leaders of their households and communities so that we can participate in the life-changing work of the Holy Spirit.

We PRAY for men to step up into the roles that God assigned them, PREPARE men for the battles to come through practical training, and PROVIDE men with the tools to build their ministries and arms to fight for what matters.

SATURDAY MORNING BREAKFAST

We are currently taking our summer break for the monthly breakfast and will start back up on the 3rd Saturday of September 2018.  For other opportunities to connect, send us an email at: menslife@yourlifechurch.org.

Eat while you learn about and discuss what it takes to be a godly man during these trying times.

We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 7:30 to 9:00AM, at Life Church.  Breakfast is served with donations accepted to cover the costs of breakfast.

Please register for the next breakfast at:  Monthly Breakfast Registration.

Men's Life Group

MEN'S LIFE GROUPS (MLG)

As men, we sometimes think that our situation is unique.  We think that no one can relate to what we're going through individually.  This lie often prevents us from connecting with other men.

Proverbs 27:17 (NLT) says, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."  The truth is that men have long been battling with the same issues.

There are MLGs that are currently meeting at various times every week.

If you're interested in joining one (or even starting one), email us at: menslife@yourlifechurch.org.

MEN'S KAYAK TRIP

Either July 21-22 or July 28-29.

We will be kayaking, fishing, and camping on the Colorado River.  We'll start in Bastrop, camp out overnight on an island in the middle of the Colorado River, and end in Smithville.

Kayak Map

Single Kayaks are $85.

Two- or Three-man Canoes are $110.

The cost covers the safety video, a drybags, map of river, personal floatation device (PFD), vessel & paddle.  The shuttle with parking is also included.
