Men's Life

Men's Life

We build men up to be husbands, fathers, and leaders who are filled and led by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that through Humility and Faith, we can Worship God (UP).  We strengthen each other by focusing on Fellowship, Discipleship, and Accountability (IN).  Our call is to share the Gospel through Evangelism and Apologetics (OUT).

We pray that men step up into the roles that God assigned them, prepare men for the battles to come through practical training, and provide men with the tools to build their ministries and arms to fight for what matters.

Men's Events & trips

As men, we tend to get wrapped up in the mundanities and monotonies of the day-in and day-out.  On our trips, we get to get back to our nature of being men.  We do various types of activities including, but not limited to hiking, kayaking, and camping.

If you're interested in joining one (or even starting one), email us at: Contact Page.

Men's Mission & Service

Men's Life is also dedicated to acting like the body of Christ by going, doing, and proclaiming the Gospel.  We do this through our missions trips and service projects.

We believe that going on mission not only impacts others, but ourselves as well.  If you are wondering

If you're intersted in serving or being sent on mission, send us an email at: Contact Page.

monthly breakfast

Our next meeting will be on September 15th starting at 7:30AM.

Join the men every 3rd Saturday of every month from 7:30 to 9:00AM, at Life Church.  We'll be eating, studying, and building camaraderie.  Donations will be accepted to cover the costs of breakfast.

MEN'S LIFE GROUPS (MLG)

Romans 7:18 (NLT) says, "I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t."  As individual men, we sometimes think that our situation is unique.  We think that no one can relate to what we're going through.  We think that people will like us only if we bring our best, but this lie often prevents us from connecting with other men.

Proverbs 27:17 (NLT) says, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."  The truth is that men have long been battling with the same issues.  Men connect when they share their hurts, habits, or hang ups and allow them to hold them accountable to getting and doing better.

There are MLGs that are currently meeting at various times every week and are always looking to start new ones.  Here is a current list of groups with contact information:

  • Mondays:  5:30am @ Einstein Bagels: 1465 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park   Contact:  Chris Sayson:  csayson@onoma-group.com
  • Wednesdays:  6:00am @ J&J’s BBQ: 300 W Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park   Contact:  Johnny Warren:  jwarren359@austin.rr.com
